Liel Grinbaum, DMD

EMU Health is thrilled to have Dr. Grinbaum as part of our team. With a strong foundation in both adult and pediatric dentistry, Dr. Grinbaum specializes in sedation dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics, skills he honed during his residency at North Shore.

Driven by a passion for helping children, especially those with special needs, Dr. Grinbaum completed a two-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he received advanced training in pediatric sedation and dental anesthesia.

A recognized expert in his field, Dr. Grinbaum is a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and received the prestigious Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for ranking in the top 3% on the ABPD qualifying exam in May 2015. He is also a diplomate of The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Nassau County Young Dental Society.

Dr. Grinbaum is a dedicated advocate for community health, frequently speaking at local schools and preschools to share valuable insights on children’s oral health. His commitment to underserved communities began in dental school, where he participated in Give Kids a Smile Day, providing free dental care and education to underprivileged children in New Jersey.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Grinbaum enjoys time with his family and is a big fan of the New York Knicks.
