EMU Health is proud to welcome Dr. David Hersh, MD, as our new Director of Cardiology. A highly respected and board-certified cardiologist, Dr. Hersh brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to heart health to the Queens community. We are thrilled to have him lead our cardiology department and provide expert care to our patients.

Dr. Hersh treats a wide range of heart conditions, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chest pain, heart disease, congestive heart failure, and recovery after a heart attack. He also focuses on preventative cardiology, helping patients reduce their risk of future heart problems through early care and screening.

At EMU Health, Dr. Hersh offers stress testing and a wide variety of ultrasound-based imaging, all available on-site, for fast and convenient evaluation of your heart health.

Dr. Hersh earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, then completed his residency and fellowship training at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)—a top honor for cardiologists nationwide.

With hospital experience at leading institutions like Lenox Hill Hospital and St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Hersh now brings his trusted care to EMU Health, where advanced testing and personalized heart care are offered all under one roof.
