Dr. Gregory Galano is a skilled surgeon, specializing in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Galano completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University. He then attended Columbia University, where he received his medical degree. Further, he completed an internship in orthopedic and general surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the same hospital. Additionally, he is fellowship-trained in sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr. Galano is certified in sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is available for consultations at EMU HEALTH in Glendale, NY. Patients visit him for a myriad of concerns, including ankle pain, hip fractures, broken ribs, knee sprain, and spine pain. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. In addition to pursuing his clinical career, he has authored numerous journal publications in his field of specialty and has given many presentations at professional society meetings.
